Our most important distinction - besides our many satisfied regular guests from all over the world - are the large number of hotel guides and hotel directories that have listed our Hotel.

Especially we'd like to mention the red Michelin Guide, which lists our Hotel for many years as one of the recommendable addresses in Heidelberg.

On 20.01.2004 our Hotel will be taken in the support program "Renewable Energy and Sustainable Tourism - REST" by the European Union.

Selected hotels which already started to minimize the consumption of ressources will be individually supported in further energy optimization and the use of energy from natural energy sources.

In April 2003 our Hotel qualified for the Viabono criteria for natural and high quality tourism and is now an official partner hotel of Viabono.
Viabono is an association of a variety of mostly non-commerical and some state-run organisations to promote sustainable tourism.

Certificate of the successful audit for classification as 3 star "Comfort Hotel" according to the german standards for hotel classifications.
Although such a certification can not consider the subjective criteria that finally determine how comfortable guests finally feel, it testifies independently the standards and comfort you can expect from our Hotel.

Awarded by Germany's Hotel- and Guesthouses Association and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany for exemplary operational concepts with regard for the environment.
Currently the only such award in Heidelberg.

Awarded by the Hotel- and Guesthouses Association and the Ministry for Environment and Transportation in the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg for an extraordinary environmentally friendly business.
